Determination of some nonmetallic elements by indirect atomic absorption spectrometry with atomic absorption spectrometer accessories

date:2018-02-28 author: click:

Atomic absorption spectrometer accessories are widely used in industry, agriculture, biochemistry, geology, metallurgy, food, environmental protection and other fields because of their high sensitivity, less interference and simple and rapid analysis methods. At present, atomic absorption spectrometer has become one of the powerful tools for metal element analysis, and it has been used in many fields. Standard analysis method. Atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) plays an important role in geological and metallurgical analysis. It not only replaces many common wet chemical analysis, but also has the same status as X-ray fluorescence analysis and even neutron activation analysis.

Atomic absorption spectrometry is currently used to determine more than 70 elements in geological samples, and most of them can achieve sufficient sensitivity and good precision.

The analysis of trace elements in iron and steel, alloy and high purity metals is now mostly based on atomic absorption spectrometry. Atomic absorption is becoming more and more widely used in food analysis. More than 20 elements in food and drink have been satisfactorily determined by atomic absorption spectrometry. The analysis of essential elements and harmful elements in biochemical and clinical samples is now carried out by atomic absorption spectrometry. In recent years, more and more literatures about the analysis of metal elements in petroleum products, ceramics, agricultural samples, medicines and coatings have been reported. The analysis of trace metal elements in environmental samples such as water and atmosphere has become one of the important fields of atomic absorption spectrometry. Some nonmetallic elements can be determined by indirect atomic absorption spectrometry.

A new type of self-collimating monochromator with a focal length of 270 mm with 1800/mm grooved large area gratings is used to obtain greater luminous flux and linear dispersion. The wavelength and passband are automatically selected. All mirrors are coated with quartz film, which is stable and reliable.

Accessories for atomic absorption spectrometer

A typical spectrometer consists of an optical platform and a detection system. It includes the following major parts:

Detector array: placed in focal plane, used to measure the intensity of each wavelength image point. The detector array can be CCD array or other kinds of photodetector array.

Dispersion elements: grating is usually used to disperse light signals in space by wavelength.

Incident slit: the object point of the spectrometer imaging system is irradiated by incident light.

Collimating element: making the light emitted from the slit into parallel light. The collimating element may be an independent lens, a mirror, or a concave grating integrated directly on a dispersion element, such as a concave grating spectrometer.

Focusing element: Focusing the dispersed beam to form a series of images of incident slits on the focal plane, each of which corresponds to a specific wavelength.
